GLOBAL SUMMIT ON DIAMOND OPEN ACCESS

SOMMET MONDIAL SUR L ́ACCÈS OUVERT DIAMANT | CIMEIRA GLOBAL SOBRE ACESSO ABERTO DIAMANTE

EQUIDADE | SOSTENIBILIDAD | USABILITY | QUALITÉ

The Second Meeting of AmeliCA Members will be held, an initiative launched by Redalyc, UNESCO and CLACSO to unite voices with the conviction that the model of science as a common and public good, where scientific communication and publishing do not seek profit and be in the hands and control of the academy, it is a better solution to achieve a sustainable, inclusive and participatory scientific ecosystem.

With the quote “Our North is the South”, we would like to provide a space for exchanging of views from the South, focused on non-commercial OA so that our approaches are known, recognized and their needs and challenges be widely discussed. An opportunity for the world to see first-hand our model, which is much closer to the perspective of the commons, than any other region in the world.
